Rapid Exit component adds a new kind of menu item in Joomla 1.6 / 1.7, which shows a registered user without a confirmation step. If Joomla is configured to use a "guest" user group, you can show this menu item to "registered" users, and combine it with a menu item "Login" is set, display only go "guest" user. If these two menu items are side by side on the menu, which on a single menu item that changes the 'Login' to 'Exit', seems to be dependent on the user's state.
